Hi all, I'm KC and an unpublished writer who's hoping to become published via the self-publishing route. I currently have 8 completed stories with 14 more in the workings when my Muse wakes up again.
I'm currently freezing in non-snowing Brisbane, Queensland Australia (on the east coast and it's winter here). I love to write (naturally), read, do puzzles, watch motorbike racing and movies amongst other things.
Want to know more, just ask and I'll answer truthfully. Honest

Well, I guess I should bite the bullet and post my intro as well.
I'm a writer, unpublished, and have been working on a rewrite of my first novel. The last few months hasn't gone so well, however. I haven't written a single word since around the middle of FebNoWriMo. I think my Muse passed out from overwork. I'd been writing non-stop since NaNoWriMo started last year.
I hosted FebNoWriMo this year, and hope to do so in the coming years as well. I might even create a few more monthly WriMos for those months where the monthly challenge doesn't interest me. I did create a AprNoWriMo forum, but never opened it to the public. When I created it, I didn't know about April Fool's WriMo (or whatever the title of it is).
I haven't made it to the last few meetings because ...
1) I forgot it was the day of the meeting until it was too late to attend.
2) I didn't have a way to get there, when I did remember in time.
With luck, I'll make the next meeting.
Well, I can't think of anything else to add at the moment. So, I'll turn the floor over to whomever is next in line to do their intro.
Oh, I forgot to add that I'm disabled and am collecting disability.

Don't feel too bad about missing the meetings Amy. I too have missed a few lately, and the one that I did make it to I was about twenty minutes late for and NO ONE was there...so apparently there wasn't a May meeting at all?
I got all snooty and missed the June meeting just on principal. That's just how I get sometimes...sorry. I just figured that I wasn't going to drive all that way to find out the same thing a second time. I WILL however make the July meeting.
Good to see BOTH Amy and Kc again! Looking forward to seeing and hearing more from you on this board.
This new board looks GREAT Amy! Thanks for building it!

You're welcome, Mykey. I based it on my FebNoWriMo site. It's good to see you again.

Hello. I am theravenlilian, or Lilian for short. I believe I have waited long enough to post here and stop being a lurker. I love writing and Nanowrimo has been a great experience for me. I am going to give the August camp nano a try. I will not start a new project, but continue working on last year’s story. Will anyone else be doing camp Nanowrimo?

Hey Lilian, good to see you here. While I've heard of it, I've never participated in the Nanowrimo and with my muse still on holidays I won't be writing this time either.
